How can you apply?
We launch two call for applications a year. Is there currently no call open? Then fill in the online form. You will be contacted when the next call for applications opens.
This is the first step of your application. In the online form we ask some basic information about you, your experience, what type of organization would be a good fit and with what challenges you can help an organization.

After submitting your application
After submitting the online form, we will contact you and ask you to complete some additional information (CV, sign the code of conduct...).
Our membership committee will
set up an interview with you, during which
they will see if you are a good fit for BoardCompanions. They will collect your personal directorship preferences, for example what type of organization and management challenges you're interested in. They will also explain you the process.
3/ Leave the matching to us
Our team will try hard to match you with 2 or 3 organizations based on your preferences and the needs of the organization. If we find good matches, we will invite you for the next step. Your participation will then be definitively confirmed.
4/ Attend the preparatory meeting
You will participate in an online preparatory meeting with other candidates. We will prepare you for the speed date and finalize the interview schedule, considering the individual preferences as much as possible.
5/ Participate in the speed date
At the online speed date you will meet 2 or 3 not-for-profit organizations. You will check with whom there is "affectio societatis" and on what jointly defined project you could work during your term.
After the speed date, it is up to you and the organizations to decide whether to continue the discussions.
